This year we are back within walking distance of the village and on a weekend too so hopefully more convenient for people to join us.

If driving please park in the village hall grounds. The fire is a few 100 yards up the top of Mill Lane – just before the sharp left bend down to the marsh. The fire will start to be lit around 6pm weather permitting (it will be deferred to Sunday evening should it be raining Saturday).

Our largest yet collection of professional quality fireworks will be set of around 7pm. Donations welcome so we can continue to fund this event.

Feel free to bring any nibbles to share and your own drink to make this a fun, communial event – one of our most popular activities each year.

NB. Organic bonfire material can be contributed upto Mon 28 Oct with no further activity in that area until the evening of the fire due to a shoot taking place earlier that day. Take care when accessing the field due to wet and bumpy ground.

We look forward to seeing you on the night.

For further details and donations for fireworks please contact Andrew, “Papaver”,  411720.
